Two 2012 information cards are available:

One is the image selected as the cover for the 2012 CD, The BAR-D Roundup: Volume Seven. It depicts California poet, humorist, artist, cowboy, and Pro Rodeo Sports News cartoonist Pat Richardson, at age 21 in Kansas where he rode polo colts for Polo Hall of Fame honoree Willis L. Hartman. The photograph was taken in 1955 by Pat Richardson's brother, Jess Howard:

R.S. Riddick's painting, "Heads or Tails," chosen as the image for the 2012 Cowboy Poetry Week poster.

 


 

These are the 2011 information cards:

One is the image selected as the cover for the 2011 CD, The BAR-D Roundup: Volume Six. It depicts legendary fiddler and cowboy Frankie McWhorter (1931-2008) and his dog, Hank. Frankie McWhorter was the father of cowboy and poet Larry McWhorter (1957-2003) and grandfather of reciter Abi McWhorter. The photograph was taken in about 1986 by Kris Erickson ( www.hankthecowdog.com):

 


Another features Duward Campbell's painting, "Pilgrim," chosen as the image for the 2011 Cowboy Poetry Week poster. "Pilgrim" is a painting of cowboy and poet J.B. Allen (1938-2005) and his horse, Pilgrim. The painting is also the cover of J.B. Allen's book, the circle:

 

 

 

These are the 2010 information cards:

 

One is the image selected as the cover for the 2010 CD, The BAR-D Roundup: Volume Five, a circa 1940 photograph of Georgie Sicking, cowboy, poet, and Cowgirl Hall of Fame Inductee. Georgie told us it was taken at a "traveling show," when she was on her first date with the man who became her husband. (CD available in April, 2010) 

Another features Bill Owen's painting, "Born to This Land," chosen as the image for the 2010 Cowboy Poetry Week poster (available in April, 2010).

 


 

 

These are the 2010 information cards:

One is the image selected as the cover for the 2009 CD, The BAR-D Roundup: Volume Four, an 1890s tintype of Gail Gardner (1892-1988), cowboy, poet, postmaster of Prescott, Arizona, and grandfather of cowboy, songwriter, and filmmaker Gail Steiger.

Perry Preston was the grandfather of Deanna Dickinson McCall, and great grandfather of poets and reciters Rusty McCall and Katie-McCall Owens. This photos was selected as the cover for the 2008 CD, The BAR-D Roundup: Volume Three.

 


 

Tim Cox' painting, "At His Own Pace," chosen as the image for the 2007 Cowboy Poetry Week poster. 

 A photo of poet Virginia Bennett's father-in-law, Orville Bennett, Texas cowboy, 1920, chosen as the image for the 2007 CD, The BAR-D Roundup: Volume Two.

 


 

"Heading Home," a painting by Joelle Smith (1957-2005) was selected as the 2006 Cowboy Poetry Week  poster art and the cover art for the first edition of The BAR-D Roundup.
